Gainswave Kirkland WA - Non-invasive Shockwave ED Treatment

A BIT ABOUT GAINSWAVE THERAPY

GAINSWave is a specific shockwave therapy designed to optimize efficiency and results while maintaining patient safety. To do this, GAINSWave utilizes low-intensity sound waves to repair aged blood vessels, stimulate the growth of new blood vessels via angiogenesis, remove any build-up of micro plaques, and increase blood flow to the penis.

THE kass precision medicine AND GAINSWAVE DIFFERENCE IN KIRKLAND

Dr. Kass was one of the first two doctors in the United States to see the potential in GAINSWave, and pioneered the shockwave therapy technique on the West Coast, starting in Kirkland. GAINSWave leverages cutting-edge technology that results in better erections and optimal performance. Dr. Kass and her medical team use an FDA-approved focused shockwave device, ensuring her patients receive the best results. Most practitioners in Washington state use a radial device, which is not as well-supported by medical research studies. We use evidence-based protocols from published shockwave studies. It is a breakthrough solution for men seeking better erectile function at any age. Dr. Kass is the most prolific purveyor of the GAINSWave procedure in Washington State and is one of the longest-standing providers of GAINSWave therapy in the US.

“It’s just like going to the gym and training a muscle…it’s the equivalent of a bench press.”

— JW Redmond, WA

HOW DOES GAINSWAVE SHOCKWAVE THERAPY WORK?

GAINSWave works utilizing three mechanisms:

  1. GAINSWave helps to dilate vessels and brings more blood flow to the existing blood vessels in the penis through use of high-frequency acoustic waves that stimulate nitric oxide synthase production.

  2. Countless studies have shown that GAINSWave treatment stimulates the growth of new blood vessels (angiogenesis) and nerve tissue (neurogenesis). These regenerations address the root of erectile dysfunction and lead to firmer, more sensitive, and sustainable erections.

  3. GAINSWave increases blood in the penis by eliminating micro plaques. This also improves the health of the vessels and their ability to fill with blood and dilate. This helps users achieve stronger, harder, and more long-lasting erections in just 6-12 treatments.

GAINSWave is non-invasive and utilizes low-intensity sound waves. Thus, it’s referred to as low-intensity shockwave therapy.

“After the first session, I noticed a definite improvement. And then about three months later, I had another round of GAINSWave treatments that just went through the roof. My sensitivity was dramatically higher compared to before, the maintainability was greatly improved…Now I have a sex life with GAINSWave that goes beyond what I had in my 20s.”

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR GAINSWAVE KIRKLAND PROCEDURE

Thirty minutes prior to treatment, a numbing cream will be applied, so patients should be prepared to arrive early to their first appointment. For follow-ups, the numbing cream may be applied at home. The appointment typically lasts from 30-40 minutes, during which we will treat the patient using the GAINSWave trademarked protocol and equipment. And that’s it! Patients can resume normal activity on the same day.

Results do vary, but 75% of men experience positive test results post-treatment. Some even experience a spontaneous erection within 24 hours.

IS A GAINSWAVE TREATMENT EMBARRASSING OR PAINFUL?

No. GAINSWave treatment is neither embarrassing nor painful.

The 30-40 minute procedure is completely painless and non-invasive. Dr. Kass and her team have performed thousands of GAINSWave procedures to improve erectile dysfunction, sexual wellness, and Peyronie’s Disease. On an average day, we perform 3–7 GAINSWave treatments. Kass Precision Medicine is professional and discreet in our service, allowing patients to feel confident and comfortable throughout the process. Improved sexual function is something that many men seek. Dr. Kass and her team utilize effective protocols that address the underlying causes of declining sexual performance. Patients leave the office with better erectile performance and sexual satisfaction.

Here’s what one patient had to say:

“Dr. Kass made an uncomfortable discussion comfortable in the first 5 minutes of my visit. I knew immediately I was working with a doctor who was an expert at treating ED, had prepared protocols and clearly performed many treatments. What I thought was going to be embarrassing or awkward was actually a breeze. The GAINSWave and PRP was fairly painless and Dr. Kass had an excellent bedside manner. I’m noticing some promising improvements 3 weeks into treatments.”

— T.H., Bellevue, WA

IS THERE ANY REQUIRED DOWNTIME AFTER A GAINSWAVE TREATMENT?

No, there is no downtime necessary after a GAINSWave treatment. It’s quite the opposite, actually. We recommend sexual activity as soon as possible after the procedure to encourage blood flow to the treated area.

“The very same night…it was amazing what kind of reactions it gave me.”

— Ronald LA, CA

HOW QUICKLY DO PATIENTS SEE RESULTS?

While the process can take up to 3–4 months to complete, some men show improvement right away. In fact, many GAINSWave patients experience morning or nocturnal erections within 24 hours of the first treatment, due to the nitric oxide (a vasodilator) released in the bloodstream during the procedure.

“Right after the first treatment, I was engorged. I could see I was bigger. After the fifth treatment, I started to get spontaneous erections.”

— S.L. Florida

HOW MANY TREATMENTS DO YOU NEED FOR GAINSWAVE TO WORK?

Patients typically require 6–12 treatments, depending on their goals. Kass Precision Medicine also offers preventative maintenance programs in Kirkland, Seattle, Bellevue, and their surrounding areas in order to maintain results and optimize performance.

HOW LONG DO THE GAINSWAVE KIRKLAND RESULTS LAST?

Effects have been medically proven to last 1–2 years after treatment. A recent European study using Doppler ultrasound imaging showed that patients had continued improvement in hemodynamics (blood flow) of the penis one year after GAINSWave therapy.

Nearly 75% of men who experienced erectile dysfunction report a complete reversal of their condition after GAINSWave treatment, as well as improved sexual performance. The majority of patients suffering from ED significantly reduced their oral ED medications or even discontinued them entirely after going through the process.

WHY SHOULD YOU CHOOSE Kass precision medicine AS YOUR GAINSWAVE KIRKLAND PROVIDER?

Dr. Kate Kass and her team are passionate about bringing new technologies, like GAINSWave, to the forefront of her field. She advocates for technologies that can push forward safe and efficient treatments with great results for clients. Dr. Kass was one of two doctors to see the potential in GAINSWave and start treating patients. We order a comprehensive blood panel to examine everything from testosterone levels and thyroid function to cardiovascular health. Kass Precision Medicine brings a thorough approach to diagnosing erectile dysfunction, prescribing the best approach for improved sexual function, and administering treatment.

Patients are often able to start their treatment right away. During the follow-up, we will review lab work with them and discuss the variables that may be contributing to their ED. Sometimes, a combination of GAINSWave and platelet-rich plasma shots will be the best way to maximize results.

THE TECHNOLOGY DIFFERENCE

Kass Precision Medicine uses two kinds of shockwave devices - “radial” and “focused”, both approved by the FDA for musculoskeletal issues. There are over 40 studies that support the effectiveness of shockwave therapy for ED, most of which use a focused shockwave device. We employ both radial and focused devices manufactured by Storz Medical, an industry leader that leverages over 75 years of medical R&D. These are both “classified medical” devices - which can only be overseen and purchased by a medical professional.

Whereas a focused device is a more powerful device, penetrating deeper into the tissue, the radial device targets shallower tissue. The radial device transmits a wider, shallower beam, compared to the focused device that casts a shockwave similar to a laser beam. The focused shockwave device, with the support of the majority of the literature, creates a deeper and more intense response in the tissue - allowing it to be more effective at treating moderate to severe cases of ED than the radial device. Very few clinics offer focused shockwave therapy - perhaps because these devices require higher-level medical providers to operate them (i.e. a doctor or registered nurse) and are more costly. Because Kass Precision Medicine is dedicated to providing evidence-based solutions that are most effective for our patients, we choose to offer both focused and radial shockwave therapy.

Ever since shockwave therapy became popular in the U.S., many companies have developed sub-standard devices purporting to be capable of treating ED. Several devices are even sold directly to consumers - and can even be purchased on Amazon! However, it’s important to note that the efficacy of these devices is not supported, and they should be used with extreme caution, if at all.

“It’s been incredible. I’ve had a couple of encounters where I felt like I was more erect and more hard than when I was a 20-year-old.”

— Jeff, 61
