Gainswave Renton WA
Non-invasive Shockwave ED Treatment

WHAT IS GAINSWAVE, I.E. SHOCKWAVE, THERAPY?

GAINSWave, also known as shockwave therapy, uses low-intensity sound waves to increase blood flow to the penis, repair aging blood vessels, stimulate angiogenesis (the growth of new blood vessels), and remove decades of micro plaques in the vessels of the penis. GAINSWave is a specific shockwave protocol that optimizes safety, efficacy, and results.

Kass Precision Medicine AND GAINSWAVE RENTON - THE SUPERIOR CHOICE

Dr. Kate Kass piloted the GAINSWave program with Dr. Gaines and was the first practitioner to bring it to the Renton area. She and her team have conducted more shockwave therapy treatments than any other clinic in Washington State. We use an FDA-approved, focused shockwave device to make sure our patients receive optimal results. The majority of practitioners in Washington state employ a radial device, which is not as well-supported by medical research.  Kass Precision Medicine uses evidence-based protocols from published shockwave studies.

“It’s just like going to the gym and training a muscle…it’s the equivalent of a bench press.”

— JW Redmond, WA

IS SHOCKWAVE THERAPY RIGHT FOR YOU?

Do you experience erectile dysfunction?
For most men experiencing ED or any declining quality of erections, shockwave therapy can be a powerful tool. This treatment is a safe therapy that has been proven to be an effective alternative to erectile dysfunction medications. If applied correctly, GAINSWave therapy has shown no serious side effects. Many men report improved erections within days of their first treatment.

Are you simply seeking improved male performance?
Most men can appreciate the benefits of shockwave therapy. If you want to perform your best and increase your sexual satisfaction, GAINSWave can help.

Do you suffer from Peyronie’s Disease?
Shockwave therapy is an effective tool that can help reduce the curvature of the penis and diminish scar tissue, both characteristics of Peyronie’s Disease.

GAINSWAVE (AKA SHOCKWAVE THERAPY) - HOW IT WORKS

GAINSWave works via three mechanisms:

  1. Shockwave therapy has been proven in multiple studies to stimulate the growth of new blood vessels (angiogenesis), improve endothelial function (strengthening the lining of the blood vessels), as well as enhance the growth of new nerve tissue (neurogenesis). Regeneration of blood vessels and nerve tissue addresses the root cause of ED, resulting in more sustainable, firmer, and more sensitive erections.

  2. High-frequency acoustic waves stimulate the production of nitric oxide synthase within the vessels in the penis. This brings increased blood flow and enables the dilation of vessels to the existing blood vessels in the penis.

  3. GAINSWave therapy eradicates micro plaques, enhancing the health of the vessels and increasing blood in the penis, allowing them to dilate and fill with blood. As a result, most men appreciate harder, stronger, and more sustainable erections in just 6–12 treatments. This process of angiogenesis and neurogenesis increases sensitivity in the penis.

YOUR GAINSWAVE PROCEDURE

Patients should arrive a half hour prior to treatment so a numbing cream can be applied. (For follow-up treatments, the numbing cream can be applied at home before your appointment.) During the 3-400 minute procedure, we use the GAINSWave-trademarked protocol and equipment. That’s it! You can then resume your day with no downtime.

While results vary, 75 percent of men report positive results following their treatment, with some experiencing a spontaneous erection within 24 hours.

CAN GAINSWAVE THERAPY BE PAINFUL OR EMBARRASSING?

For most men - the answer is no. This quick procedure is non-invasive and pain-free. Dr. Kass and her team have conducted thousands of shockwave treatments on male patients for ED, Peyronie’s Disease, and to help improve sexual wellness, performing approximately 3–7 treatments every day. She and her staff are experts in erectile dysfunction, and their professional, discreet service makes patients feel comfortable and confident throughout the treatment.

SHOCKWAVE THERAPY - IS THERE DOWNTIME FOLLOWING TREATMENT?

There is no downtime following a GAINSWave treatment. In fact, we urge patients to engage in sexual activity soon after the procedure to encourage blood flow to the treated area.

“The very same night…it was amazing what kind of reactions it gave me.”

— Ronald LA, CA

HOW SOON DO PATIENTS SEE RESULTS?

The process of new vessel formation may take several months; however, some men show immediate improvement. Because nitric oxide (a vasodilator) is released in the bloodstream during the procedure, many GAINSWave therapy patients even report having nocturnal or morning erections the first day.

HOW MANY SHOCKWAVE THERAPY TREATMENTS ARE NEEDED?

Depending on individual goals, patients typically need between 6–12 treatments. Kass Precision Medicine offers GAINSWave preventative maintenance programs in Seattle, Renton, and surrounding areas to optimize performance and maintain results.

GAINSWAVE THERAPY RESULTS - HOW LONG DO THEY LAST?

The effects of shockwave therapy have been medically proven to last between one and two years. A recent European study using Doppler ultrasound imaging demonstrated that patients saw improved blood flow in the penis one year after treatment.

Nearly 75% of men with ED appreciated a reversal of their condition and reported enhanced sexual performance following GAINSWave therapy treatments. Following shockwave therapy procedures, most patients with ED were able to reduce or discontinue their oral erectile dysfunction medications.

Kass Precision Medicine - YOUR BEST CHOICE AS A GAINSWAVE RENTON PROVIDER

Dr. Kate Kass piloted the original GAINSWave program with Dr. Gaines. She was one of the few doctors in the U.S. to initially appreciate the potential of shockwave therapy for treating patients with ED.

Our clinic is dedicated to having a doctor or nurse perform the treatment - as opposed to many other clinics where non-medical staff often conducts this procedure.

Kass Precision Medicine brings a comprehensive approach to treating erectile dysfunction and assisting men who just want to enhance their sexual performance. Dr. Kass spends an average of one hour with each patient during the initial appointment to assess his health and lifestyle history. A comprehensive blood panel is then ordered to ensure a thorough evaluation of everything from cardiovascular health and testosterone levels to thyroid function, all of which may contribute to erectile dysfunction.

Patients usually begin their treatment package on the first day. Then, we review lab work during a follow-up visit, along with any other variables that may be contributing to erectile dysfunction - or whatever issue they may be experiencing. Kass Precision Medicine often combines shockwave therapy treatments with the platelet-rich plasma (P-Shot) for optimal results.

THE TECHNOLOGY DIFFERENCE

Kass Precision Medicine uses two kinds of shockwave devices that have received approval from the FDA for musculoskeletal issues: “radial” and “focused.” More than 40 studies support the efficacy of shockwave therapy to treat erectile dysfunction, and most of the research uses a focused shockwave device. Kass Precision Medicine employs both radial and focused devices that are manufactured by Storz Medical, an industry leader that leverages over 75 years of medical research and development. These are both “classified medical” devices and can only be purchased and overseen by a medical professional.

Whereas a focused device is a more powerful device that penetrates deeper into the tissue, the radial device affects shallower tissue. The radial device transmits a wide, shallow beam. On the other hand, the focused shockwave device, with the support of the majority of the literature, casts a shockwave that is similar to a laser beam, creating a deeper and more intense response in the tissue. This device is the most effective at treating moderate to severe cases of ED. Perhaps because the focused devices require higher-level medical providers to operate them (i.e., a doctor or registered nurse) and are more costly, it is rare to find a clinic that offers focused shockwave therapy. Kass Precision Medicine is dedicated to providing the most effective and evidence-based solutions, so we choose to offer both radial and focused shockwave therapy.

When shockwave therapy became popular in the U.S., several companies developed sub-standard devices that they say are capable of treating erectile dysfunction. In fact, many are even sold directly to consumers and can even be purchased on Amazon! It’s important to note, however, that the efficacy of these devices is not medically proven, and they should be used with extreme caution, if at all.

SHOCKWAVE THERAPY TREATMENTS - SUPERIOR TO OTHER ED SOLUTIONS

GAINSWave may seem almost too good to be true; however, it’s a proven solution.

GAINSWave therapy:

  • Is non-invasive, with little or no known side effects

  • Is surgery- and drug-free

  • Addresses poor blood flow - the root cause of ED

  • Is a straightforward, in-office procedure taking only approximately 20-30 minutes per treatment

  • Provides long-lasting results with no necessary downtime

GAINSWAVE AND ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION MEDICATION: A COMPARISON

With shockwave therapy, there is no need to take pills or spend a lot of money to constantly refill expensive prescriptions. Additionally, patients don’t have to experience the harmful side effects that can be associated with oral erectile dysfunction medications. GAINSWave therapy is ideal for men who are unable to take oral ED medications, such as men with diabetes, heart disease, or high blood pressure. And, unlike oral ED drugs such as Viagra, GAINSWave can also treat Peyronie’s Disease.
