Even though I’ve been studying and practicing Regenerative Medicine for over a decade, I am continually amazed at the human body. One of the most miraculous aspects I’ve come to appreciate is our regenerative capacities. In particular - the power of Plasma-Rich Platelets (PRP). Why, you ask? Because harnessing and applying PRP has allowed me to help heal countless patients - helping with all manner of ailments, including:

  • Sexual dysfunction

  • Hair loss

  • Fine lines and signs of aging

  • Acne scarring

  • Sun damage

  • Orthopedic injuries

WHY PRP?

PRP therapy became popular in the 1970s when orthopedists began treating professional athletes to help heal injuries. Today, PRP is used even more extensively for regenerating ligaments, tendons, and joint injuries, and in orthopedic surgeries to improve surgical outcomes and patient recovery. Because of its ability to regrow collagen, enrich fibrin, and aid in the formation of new blood vessels, PRP’s applications are becoming increasingly wide-ranging; for instance, doctors are leveraging the power of PRP to expedite wound healing.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

PRP is a concentrated preparation of your growth factors extracted from your blood. After a simple blood draw, I use one of the leading PRP harvesting systems available to separate and concentrate your platelets and growth factors. Platelets produce clotting as well as growth factors which are considered messengers that signal cells to start functioning.

Once extracted, this concentrated growth factor cocktail - with all its amazing healing and restorative properties - is then applied to and injected into targeted areas for regeneration.

NOT ALL PRP IS CREATED EQUALLY

My predominant goal is to provide the best possible care for my patients - so I spend a great deal of time researching the best solutions. The PRP protocol I selected is the most advanced, effective solution I could find - using a centrifuge that produces plasma that is densely filled with platelets - 8-10 times more so than average plasma found in the body.

When it comes to PRP systems, many medispas and aesthetics clinics aren’t providing FDA-approved treatments - rather they are using gel tube kits or even making their own “poor man’s PRP” - essentially drawing out plasma and calling it PRP. While these offerings might be more cost-effective - they are much less effective, providing only two times the amount of growth factors.

WHAT PRP THERAPY DO YOU OFFER?

In my practice, I concentrate on some key focus areas:

Skin: PRP therapy reduces the appearance of sun damage, fine lines, scars, wrinkles, and dark under-eye circles.

Hair: When applied to the scalp, PRP rejuvenates hair follicles and promotes refolicularization - the growth of new strong, and healthy hair follicles

Sexual Dysfunction: PRP therapy can enhance sexual function for both men and women. The treatment for men is known as the Priapus Shot or P-Shot, and it provides increased revascularization of the penis and stronger, more reliable, and more frequent erections. The O-Shot is similarly applied to enhance women’s sexual function, improving sensitivity, and lubrication, and addressing atrophy and even quality of orgasms.

In my opinion, we are just scratching the surface of PRP’s regenerative potential. I’m currently investigating the possibilities of additional therapies - such as the power of harnessing stem cells for their regenerative properties. Our bodies have tremendous potential and extensive healing capabilities.

I FEEL HONORED TO BE PART OF A PROFESSION THAT IS LEVERAGING THESE EXCITING NEW THERAPIES - AND HOPE YOU’LL CONTACT THE OFFICE AT 425-970-8568 IF YOU’D LIKE TO LEARN MORE ABOUT HOW I CAN HELP YOU.
